Would You Be Interested?

I've been contemplating something and I'd like some feedback from ya'll.

I was thinking about starting a weekly or bi-weekly writing prompt on here.  Basically the format would be I'd put up a picture and give you a few days to write a piece inspired by it.

Here's what I'm wondering:
     1. Would anyone be interested in doing this?
     2. Thoughts on word counts - do I put a limit on or not?
     3. How much time should I give between picture prompts if I do go ahead with this?

Please let me know what your thoughts are.  This would be strictly picture prompts.  I've looked around and thought this might be an interesting addition to the different types of writing prompt groups out there.  Maybe not.

Like I said, feedback on this thought is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

  1. I'd try it. Honestly, I do prompts when I have both time and energy at the same time, but a good prompt helps with the energy part!

I don't know about word prompts, but having 5 days or even a week between prompts would be nice for me.

    It sounds fun!

  2. I like the idea. I do several prompts but none of them are picture prompts. A picture leaves so much more room for interpretation. I think a word limit is a good idea. Some people (me) tend to go on and on, if they don't have limits. I prefer weekly prompts.

  3. Um, I'm not sure but I think my comment got deleted so I'll leave another. If it didn't, sorry about the double comment.

I like the idea of a picture prompt as it's more open-ended. Word limits are a good idea. I get wordy if left to my own devices. :-) I also prefer weekly prompts so I can find the time to participate.

  4. I love the idea. Would like at least 3-4 days to post. Word limits are OK as long as they aren't too limiting. LOL

  5. I love it! I like the idea of a weekly prompt that gives us a few days to consider and write.

  6. I would try it. Just don't make it too difficult for beginners like me!
