Dreamland

This was a fun little prompt to write.  Trifecta wanted a 33 word bedtime story - no nightmares.  I used this week's Don't Panic Picture Prompt as an inspiration.  Here's my bedtime story.


Sunlight sparkling on waves
Fairies dancing
Dragons roaring

They’re waiting for you

To go there
Close your eyes
Say it Thrice

Take me to Dreamland

     Take me to Dreamland



                 Take me to Dreamland

    Lovely! I really like how you repeated the last three lines - the effect is wonderful, especially considering the word limit.

      Thanks. I really wanted to have those last three lines repeat but wasn't sure if I'd given up too much elsewhere. I'm glad this worked, then.
