Trifecta's33 word weekend prompt put me in mind of my subject right away. Feeling brave after some feedback from one of the last prompts I responded to on another site, I decided to write another poem. Let me know what you think!
as a mom, there is really nothing that compares to that sound is there? The tug, the pulling..it never really ends once they are here, they tug on your hands, your heart even your brain some times, but that first moment of relief as you hear their cry is magic.
Thanks! He has everyone in my family wrapped around his sticky little fingers. That first cry is so precious there just aren't really words to describe it.
